Andrew performed at the Flea Theater in the last Cycle of Serials!
Serials is a late night theater festival, with emphasis put on new and upcoming directors and writers creating new works. Actors get the script on Monday, rehearse for six hours on Tuesday and Wednesday, followed by 30 minutes of tech on Thursday. The shows open on Thursday and run through Saturday. Of the five plays shown, the audience votes on their three favorites, whose scripts keep getting developed, while the two losing teams have to start all over with a new director and playwright.

August 1st

Andrew workshopped a new play as part of the Drama League's First Stage Festival, written and directed by Pete Danelski.
"10 Directors. 10 Hours. 10 New Work-In-Progress Showings.
'Over a nine year span, Anton Chekhov found a humiliating start as a playwright, lived in a penal colony, and watched his brother succumb to tuberculosis—all in the shadow of his own fatal disease. Personal correspondences from these years open a window into Chekhov’s own positive life view and its inextricable relationship with death and creativity. Part verbatim play. Part experiment. EveryHour/Chekhovin 8 uses Chekhov’s words to displace his identity andideas. What does the title “creative genius” really mean during the 20th century?'
The First Stage Festival is where new work takes its first steps. 10 directors will have 10 hours to focus, manifest, and present a particular moment or element of a new work for an audience. 10 work-in-progress showings will provide glimpses into the future of the American Theater."

All's Well That Ends Well
Andrew returned to PA Shakespeare for their production of All's Well That Ends Well. He plays 2nd Lord Dumaine, one of the lords in the French court who help Bertram escape his unwanted marriage to Helena.
"Extreme Shakespeare." This production will be rehearsed the way Shakespeare’s company would have: actors arrive with their lines learned, rehearse on their own, wear what they can find, and open in a matter of days. No director, no designers. Just great actors, a compelling play, pure adrenaline, spontaneity, and creativity. Ages 13+"
